Mount Eden Rock Garden
[in progress]
Coming home to her stately bungalow after living in Australia for over 20 years was emotional for our client. The brief was to refresh the garden beds and add a connection between the upper deck and lower lawn. The garden felt closed in by high hedges, neighbours on three sides and a large Pohutukawa tree. We went with light bright paving and silver, grey and white-themed planting to reflect light. Clear communication was an important part of this project due to limited time onsite working with tenants and our client overseas.
plant list: Westringia fruiticosa ‘Low Horizon’, Zephyranthes candida, Convolvulus cneorum, Helictotrichon Sempervirens, Vinca minor ‘Gertrude Jeckyll’, Blechnum gibbum ‘Silver Lady’, Nephrolepsis ‘Boston Blue Bell’, Hosta ‘Patriot’
