The Garden Party

With the prettiest bungalow on the street, having people stop and look wasn’t something our clients had anticipated when they bought their 1920s home. With that in mind creating privacy was very important as was a design that was sensitive to the era of their home. Using the original garden beds the design includes planting at the front door for maximum impact for visitors,  privacy hedging along the west boundary, and incorporating the existing well-established trees. Taking inspiration from ‘The Garden Party’ garden at the Hamilton Gardens we added a modern Auckland influence of tropical colour to clash with soft dusky pinks and whites.
